I have a FEL on my older 755. I think it's the JD 70. I have been wanting a pallet fork attachment so I can switch out the bucket once in awhile. Does anyone have any good suggestions? I don't think I have a quick connect, but it doesn't look too tough to take the bucket off either. I've seen a few online, any suggestions?

Thanks!

I have the Deere forks, that have proven to be real tough.. even good at digging out trees by popping out the roots, as well as digging out large boulders.
These fit the JD quick attach system that is on my 430 FEL.

I added a bar across the bottom and a bracket on top so I could use the forks on my 3 ph iMatch as well as the FEL. Easy to do.
Also, do not use the set screws/bolts designed by Deere, but instead just snap some split plastic tubing of different lengths for keeping forks at set distances apart.
I plan to replace the center plate that has the safety sticker on it, with a heavy mesh that I can see through for aligning up forks with pallets. It blocks my view now.

His loader doesn't have JDQA so it makes it tougher. Forks would have to be pin on which requires a little more effort and time to switch between the bucket and forks. I have a 430 loader and I made a set of JDQA forks for it that work slick. I have also made a set of bucket slide on forks for an 855 with pin on bucket.

Bucket forks work in a pinch, but if you're going to be doing much fork work I'd suggest making a set of pin-on's or converting your 70 loader to use skid steer quick attach like newer compact tractor loaders use. You can buy all the plates off the shelf, not too cheap but it really opens up your options and then you can buy cheaper premade QA pallet forks. Something like this: Pin On to Skid Steer Quick Attach Adapter Spacer Brackets Cross Brace Latch Weld
Skid steer stuff can be heavy so watch for that.

The problem with bucket forks is they hang way out there which reduces your lifting capacity since it shifts your load center out another 16"+ but if you're only dealing with light stuff it may be a good option for now.
