755 PTO indicator

Hey all,

So my 755 PTO indicator will not light up.

Here is what i have done so far:

1. power to light socket: yellow wire good, black/blue wire no
2. power to pto switch: none
3. continuity at black/blue wire from pto switch to light socket: good
4. continuity from yellow wire at light switch to yellow wires going into fuse block: good

I'm lost from here.

My PTO seat switch works as it should.

yea i changed bulbs 2 twice.

Did you check the PTO lamp indicator switch or the connection to the switch?

yes.

I have no power going to the switch but i have continuity from the switch to the bulb (blue wire)

Light socket does have 12V one side.

Bulb is good.

pto switch is disconnected (harness removed from switch) should i try to connect the leads at the pto switch to see if i get a light at the socket?

no 12V on other side of bulb wiring.

From your description, I also agree it sounds like a problem with the bulb socket. With the PTO switch disconnected and a bulb installed, there should be voltage on both sides of the socket.

Diagram really helps. You need to check the bulb socket. If you ground the blk/blu wire from the socket the bulb should light.
