We run a firewood and XMAS tree farm in NE CT using a TC30 with many attachments (FEL,BH,LP mainframe with rear blade, rake, scarifier, rotary cutter,Wallenstein chipper). Run into a problem where the BH was taken off and having problems reconnecting. Done this many times over the years without problems, but think the hydraulic pressure was not relieved before disconnecting and cannot get the hoses reconnected.

Factory service manuals don't show any pressure relief/poppet valve other than for the max pressure.

Anyone run into this before? Any ideas?

Thanx

if you aren,t able to get the ball in coupler to relieve pressure you always have the option of cracking the nut lose on the metal line and get pressure off that way:thumbsup:Dave

Released pressure at the outlet valve spool reservoir fitting after removing the cowl. Hoses reconnected and BH re-attached without problems.

As an FYI, the local NH dealer had no clue, but was more than willing to make a service call....(-:

Thanx Dave.
