I'm close to making a decision between a Farmall 75C and a MF 4707. I'll be using it to run a small square baler, rake and disc cutter. Also to feed cattle in smaller 2-3 acre paddocks and to grapple logs too. The 4707 weighs 8344 without weights, FEL or filled tires. The 75C weighs 62-6700, depending on what literature you are reading, with the same setup.

Most of my log grappling would be under 28" hardwood logs.

Anyone have real world log grappling experience with the 75C or the 4707?

I don't have any experience with the Massey but have a little over a year with a T4.75 New Holland. I've got a 72" grapple and that combo will handle any tree I've lifted so far. The loader is very strong. I'm sure the Massey FEL is in the same category. I would feel comfortable with either unit. I have loaded rears and with the tries out to the maximum width it is a very stable unit. I brush hog some steep hills and feel very firm and planted at all times. Good luck and keep us posted on your progress.
