Oil & Fuel 76 B7100 Fule injector pump

Anyone familiar with the shims to set the fuel timing on an old B7100? I rebuilt the engine but am not getting the power I expected. The only thing I was unsure of in the rebuild was the shimming of the fuel pump. Any suggestions?

Unless you replaced the block, cam or crank, the shimming will be the same..
The problem probably lays in the fueling set up.. The max fuel can be adjusted along w/ the engine rpms..
Do you have any smoke at wide open..
Is the throttle lever touching the stop screws?? are you using a hand held tach for rpms or relying on the dash guage?
