Tires 7610 bar tires versus turf tires

$850 sounds like the going rate. My dealer just quoted me $856 for bar turf tires and rims (he says fronts/backs are Goodyear, i'll verify this evening).

He is checking to see how much $ can be credited towards the new tires/rims for trading in my 14 hour old tires/rims.

He was not aware of the bar turf tires being superior to turfs regarding cutting turf when turning, but was aware of turf tires cutting. His opinion is that the bar turf tires will be no better, but obviously you have not found that to be the case.

A - The fronts are Firestone Field & Turfs - not Goodyears like the rear bar turfs.

B - The bar turfs on the front have rounded () edges, not square [] edges. That's where the rubber meets the road, or the turf! /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif The sguare edges cut a continuous circle when turning, the round Bar Turfs move the soil and may lift it, but don't cut... unless you are mowing at 90mph, then Lord help you... and your turf! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
