78\" Dozer Blade
I came across the blade below on Ebay. I have been trying to figure out if I wanted a FEL snow blade with a quick connects or a separate dozer/snow blade. I want to use it for snow removal and light grading work.
Here is the listing....
YOU ARE BIDDING ON A 78 INCH BLADE
Snow/Front/Dozer Blade
Compatible with: New Holland TC29DA, TC30 & TC33DA
(Includes hydraulic valve)
This blade angles right, left and lifts up and down
Good looking blade with skid shoes and spring back
I have some questions?
1) Will this work with my TC33D?
2) I have a mid-mount mower, do I keep that hardware on along with the FEL and the snow blade? How would all that work.
3) Assuming it would work, what are the advantages to have this type of blade versus one that goes on the FEL? I know using the quick connects you could change over quickly. I have taken my FEL of plenty of times and that is quite easy also. How hard would it be to change over to the snow blade versus quick connects?
The person selling this said since I have a FEL (7308) that I wouldn't need the valve so I could take $400 of. That makes it $1800 versus $3000 I am getting quoted for quick connects and a snow blade for my FEL.
I welcome any insights you guys can give me.
Thanks
