One more ride and it will be home this morning.:D Just in time to clean up after the ice storm.:) But weather man says 100% chance of snow today and tonight so I will have to work this weekend.

I posted this in the wrong group. I appologize to all the Kubota owners out there.

I was considering one of those when I bought my Kubota.
Nice stuff, but my Kubota dealer out-did the Deere dealer.

Have Fun!

Nice looking tractor!
Why do truckdrivers insist on puttin straps against the cylinder rams? Seems side deflection and the weight of the tractor bouncing against the rams can't be good for it. Guess that is just the easiest place to throw a strap.
Be sure and go over it good with an keen eye and a greasegun before you venture out into that white stuff. I have heard that it is no fun breaking down in it.

LOL, I thought maybe Kubota got a good deal on some green paint..... Nice tractor though, even if it does need some orange to make it right. Stan

WAIT A MINUTE---------------------I MUST BE IN THE WRONG FORUM?

I moved the thread from the Kubota forum & merged with the one already here.

If any of you happen to make the same mistake, feel free to use the "notify moderator" button (red triangle) to the left of a post to let us know. We're more than happy to move threads to the appropriate home.

Congrats on the new tractor.:)

Nice machine, I see you got the Horst cast Forks, they are the best I've seen, I'm doing a project now converting them to work with my 3 PT I-Match. I got the 73" high volume bucket just for the snow, it helps alot. How much do those wheel weights weigh? Good Luck!

That is one good looking fella there! I looked them too but it was way out of my budged. :( My neighbor owns one and uses the FEL to plow snow. He will drive right into the 2-3 ft snow banks that the state plow makes in their driveway and the 790 just keeps on going, laughing at the challenge. Congrats

The JD dealer said the Horst forks were better made than the Deere forks and they were also cheaper. 3 weights per wheel, 60 lbs. a piece. I got the 61" heavy duty bucket with a replaceable cutting edge. Once work slows down I will be using the forks first. The driveway is full of limbs from the ice storm. We have to drive through the yard to get to the house.
