While surfing the Deere site I pulled up the on-line 790 Operators Manual to see if they had changed anything.
One item seemed to jump out at me.
The factory specification is now to change the transmission fluid, hydraulic filter and clean the suction screen after the initial 50 hours of operation. My 2001 manual did not call for the first change till 500 hours.
They also seem to have added turn signals to the tractor, redesigned the air filter ( got rid if the wing nut that seems to break so easily) and lowered the gross HP and PTO HP rating a smidgen. Wonder if they fixed the battery problem?
I know I know what would posses me to look at an on-line manual that I had already read a 100 times. Well when "Trading Spaces" is the only show on TV for hour after hour you too will turn to any diversion.
Excuse me I need to get outside and change my THF.
