790 Owners... I need a little help

Had some time to get the Tranny service done today, everything went great. I was down to the last part before filling her back up with fluid.

I was waiting for the tranny screen to dry and for some strange reasion I stuck my finger in the hole (it's a guy thing) and pulled this out????? I have no clue what this is, it's about the size of a BB and yellow and before you tell me it's a penny....I already know that /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I remember doing the same thing, but I never saw anything like that???? Looks like a plastic/rubber BB

I did my tranny service a couple weeks ago and found no such items in my screen. Could be a piece of shot media used to deburr housings though it's a bit large for that /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

It wasn't found in the screen....it was laying in the bottom of the tranny where the screen goes and it's plastic.

I was thinking maybe some sort of check valve in the loader couplings that got loose....or something along that lines.

A few years ago, a co-worker of mine brought by a plastic plug that he found in his transmission (Ford S/W). It was a dust cap that should've been removed when the tranny was installed, but ended up inside instead.
Now I'm not saying this has anything to do with the BB, But you never know, maybe it was "Bring you kids to work day" the day your machine was assembled. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
