Bob thanks for the clairification but Neil already knew that considering to the best of my knowledge he is a Case, Kubota and New Holland dealer.Bob_Skurka said:Neil, it strikes me that you are wrong on this but I suspect your intent was to show that it is not a bumper to bumper 5 year warrenty, and to that point you are correct.
I do think that some people mistakenly believe that a warrenty is often a full warrenty for the time period specified. They would be incorrect.
However, most tractor manufacturers offer a 2 stage declining warranty. Many are 3 years, with the first 2 being bumper to bumper and the final year being drive train. Kioti offers a 4 year, and I believe that is a 2 year bumper to bumper + 2 years drive train. TYM ups the warrenty with 3 years bumper to bumper and a 2 year diminishing drive train.
I understand there are many considerations that go into the purchase of a compact tractor but, that being said I still think TYM has the best compact tractor warranty in the industry and it gives added value to the purchaser over tractors with lesser warranties.
