8.5 foot high garage doors ???

I know I'm getting old and easily confused . But, I remember finding a company that markets an 8 1/2 ' high door . I didn't bookmark it ,as I knew I'd remember it /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
Do any of You TBN'ers know of a manufacturer ??

Clopay will custom build you a door in almost any configuration. Mine are 8.5Hx12W. 5 years ago their lifetime warrantee, brown, insulated, double skinned doors with glass were just under $1000/each. Time from order to delivery was well under 4 weeks.

Thanks for the info guys ! But, I'm looking for a door with a 12 to 14 R value . (should have stated that up front )
But if Clopay does custom doors , I'd expect Wayne Dalton ,Raynor, and others do the same .

I know Wayne-Dalton will do that size door. Their 9900 series door is R12, which is what I'm installing in my garage as an 8' high door.

I know you are looking for a pre-insulated door.. however how about cutting r-max.. or some other rigig style insulation board.. ( even that silvered fiber board? 1/4 inch thick) Cut the panels and apply them to the door segments on the inside.. etc.

You can go to your local Home Depot. They will come out and measure your door and order a custom built door to fit your opening. They will either arrange to have it installed or you can install it yourself.
