As soon as I saw him put that thing in reverse. I rammed my elbow into the window, first and second try didn't get it. But on the third try the window broke.
How I was able to break the window like that while running I just don't know.
I really thought there was gonna be a few funerals after that day. (Including mine)
The 5 year old did get some cuts from the glass coming in. But that's alot better than getting killed by that semi. (The 2 year old had no injuries)
If I had still been in my truck and saw the car rolling backwards I would have drove up and let the car smash into my truck.
I'm just really glad I was their and was able to save those two.
That happened 5 years ago. So the 5 year old would be 10 now and the 2 year old would be 7. So that would make me 19 at the time. (I'm 24 now) Wow how time flies. It doesn't seem like it was that long ago.
I really hope it never happens again. But if it does and I happen to be their and see it. I would be right their again risking my life to save someone else's
