After a day's work on the trails, I stopped in front of the shed and turned off the engine before putting the gator away. Came back later to drive it into the shed and it wouldn't start. Had panel lights, box would lift, key just made a click sound.
I discovered that I ran over a tree branch, which got up between the cab and the box and into the engine compartment. Carefully removed the branch and saw that it had pulled a wire off the starter. It was one of those "clip on" tab connectors.
Hard to believe that stick could find it's way to that exact spot! (Even harder to believe I noticed the wire).
