88 Ford 555 - Rear Axle Fluid?

Thanks for looking in - Manual calls for Ford 134 - what compares to that? I've read UTF is for hydraulics, p. steering, and trans but is the rear axle different?...90w gear oil? Thanks

Many versions of UTF meet the New Holland MC134D specification, and will say so on the label. 90 wt gear oil does not. DO NOT use 90 wt or 80W-90 oil in the rear axle of a 555B.

Correct no gear lube in the rear end!!, any UTF that meets 134D is what you use in every sump but the engine, check the pail should list it.
