Nope. About the early 70's is when it was phased out. My 70 Mustang came with 4 wheel non power drums. Also had a 70's Duster that had them also.

I was thinking about my 1958 Plymouth (gigantic fins on the rear) which had power brakes. Maybe only compact cars didn't have them. Of course, my Plymouth also had air conditioning which was rare in those days. No, some of the bigger cars came without power brakes also. Mostly just the strippers though. The Ford fullsize striped car had power brakes as an option. Thankfuly my Convertible has power, with 5500lbs to stop, you need all the help you can get.
