900 Hour Maintenance Complete....Almost!

Well, my "Baby Bota" hit the 900 hour mark (898.4 actually) and all is well!:thumbsup: The only thing that has not been done is the front axle oil. I have the parts to change the seals and will change seals and refill with fresh gear oil soon. The funny part is that the seals have been VERY lightly seeping for over 400 hours. NEVER a drop on the floor. One day there was a dime size oil drop on the floor and I ordered the parts. I worked the steering wheel back and forth about 10 times...not another drop. Needless to say, I will still be changing the seals within the next week or so.
I work my tractor extremely hard and it continues to suprise me!

I'm approaching 1200 hrs. Am still very pleased with tractor. About twice a year I wish it were a L5740 HST+ for extra hp and the +.

my b7800 is 0ver 1000hrs. mine had a front axel seal leak at about 900+ hours and the leak developed pretty quickly. got it fixed and still going strong. glad your is treating you good too.

what does the book say re:valve adj @1000 hrs, recommended service?

Changed the steering pivot seals, axial ball joints (boots torn for YEARS and play) and replaced gear oil. NOW it's done!
Big Bubba,BX24 has valve adjust at 800 hrs. I did that on mine last year.
