Possible those seals are lower on a NH. On my 3 Kubotas its high enuf that the wheel spindles still share some of their oil in tractor type [bumpy] work. The dip in the pumpkin catches some and thus remains ok for a while in no load conditions. How long a while is is years so far. More that 2000 hrs tractor use. Sparing use of 4wd except when it has been recently filled.JerryG said:If those seals leak to where no oil is at that level, your ring and pinion will be toast.
