914A MMM not lifting level

NOTE: Make sure the left 3-point arm is pinned in the upper hole and the right tractor lift rod is adjusted so the 3-point arms are the same height, measured from the ground.

Funny.......My manual says to make sure the left lift arm has the pin in the lowest hole.
BTW, Bud brought my TC18 back today and the deck lifts level all the way up. He removed everything and re-assembled it according to the manual. Still lifted uneven from right to left.
Then he noticed it was not level front to back either. He adjusted the front lift rods on the deck, into the turnbuckles more, to level it out front to rear, and now it lifts even right to left all the way up.

So, I guess you need to make sure it is level front to rear and THEN make the adjustments to make it level right to left.

The deck used to hit the lift stop that is welded on. And then it went out of level side to side. Now it has the correct ½" space and lifts level /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Eureka! I think that might be my problem. I purchased the tractor with R4 tires. Now I'm running turfs. I suspect I am running at a slightly different pitch (ie nose up or down with the turfs relative to the R4s). That might be why my deck is out of alignment when its lifted.

It has been cutting evenly, so I haven't fiddled with it too much, but I think I can eeek out some better ground clearance with it if I re-level it. Also I seem to be running with less of the "cushion lift" assisting - ie more weight on the mowing deck castors, vs. the springs.

The three point arms are in the right spots, and I don't remember hitting anything with alot of force.
