Hi again, I got to using my new to me 955 and I have noticed that the FEL lever is very sloppy. I looked it up on JDparts and it looks like a pretty simple setup. I would like to know if you think the pivot shaft is worn or if it could be just the shoulder bolt. Also, Seems like this is aweful sloppy for a tractor with 636 hours.

Thanks...Tony

You'll have to take it apart to see.

Even my joystick on my 4110 is sloppy to me, been that way since new. Could be just looser than you like and not a real "problem", but you will have to take it apart to find out-pretty simple as you saw in the diagram.

Yeah, I will check it out. I think it is maybe a bit more than usual because I have to lean to the left so lift high enough.

I will let you know.

My 5103 was also. Here is most likely the fix. Slid the boot forward on the joystick. You most likely will see 3 allen bolts. One of mine was loose. You might remove the bolts one at a time and apply a little "lock tight" on them and replace. I just tightned mine up and if it gets loose again I'll lock tight them.
