97 Kubota L4350 Bevel Gear Case seal leaking (Lower end)

Looking for advice on seal replacement (lower half) for the left front Bevel Gear case that is leaking. I have the full shop manual but the photo quality sucks. I do have some mechanical background and most tools you would find in a shop. I have included pictures showing were it is leaking. I have already purchased the seals needed but my dealership service department is not very "Owner friendly" as far as fixing it at home goes, most likely because I didn't buy it from them. Would it be best to remove the entire unit from the axle housing?

Picture 1 and 2 is the leak location
Picture 3 is the axle housing to bevel housing. Would easier to remove the entire assembly and work on it on a bench or leave it in place.
