My bucket is pretty close to being useless with a load on it. It goes up/down/rollback/dump all day long with no load, but when you load it up it doesn't want to lift. Also...when I let it down it doesn't come down until I hit the float detent on the joy stick. This 1997 L2900 has 1200 hrs. on it and I changed the hydraulic oil/filter last spring. I've used it quite a bit all summer long with no problem...any ideas out there?

There is a valve on the right side under the step near the hydraulic filter.... It has a slot in it and turns 90 degrees. see the attached picture.
It is the slotted thing between the 2 hoses.
That valve is to divert the hydraulic fluid to the loader control or exclude the loader control when you remove the loader. check that it is not in the middle.... KennyV

Thanks, KennyV. I'll take a look at it when the sun comes up...that reminds me, I can't get it into my shop unless I take off the rollbar (one piece)...so I work on it outside (MN) or drive it down to my friend's shop, a mile down the road (heated).
