99 massey 1240

Anybody have one or has had one or been around one? Wondering about overall value in the tractor, thanks

Had a '00 MF 1240 for ten years (832 hours). Was used mostly for a combination of loader work, snow plowing, brush cutting, chipping and leveling & cleaning up neglected fields. Great tractor for it's size! I put it thru it's paces and it never let me down. I was so impressed with it, we bought a MF 1643 approximatley 1 1/2 years ago. This one is a winner too!

Thanks for the reply, I bought a 99 with 171 hrs, guy bought it for his house and acre that it set on, could of went through the car wash and you would have thought I just drove it off the lot, so far have put 9 hrs on her, have 10 acres that I just cut with it, so far very pleased.

operators s comp burnt after the bellhsg broke. I guess it was decent but too small. not a very sturdily built tractor.
