Been using the 990 snowblowing this winter for about 8 hours but it is now hopefully time to think spring and get ready for cleanup. I need to add rear couplers for my 12 foot woods mower and power beyond for the soon to be 4 n 1 bucket. The two kits from JD can get the job done but can I mount both on the back of the tractor without them interfering with each other? I am going to use an electric over hydraulic valve and push button handle for the 4 n1 extra functions. Also any good leads on Galaxy tires so I do not have to buy new rims when I change to turf for the summer?

Hmm... your post is a bit confusing. It's not altogether clear, exactly what you're planning to do with the hydraulics on your 990.

I recall that JD offers the power-beyond circuit for the 990 as well as the optional rear mounting for the mid-mount SCV's.

It is my understanding that you can have both at the rear of the tractor without a mounting conflict.

However, if you are planning on using the electo-hydraulic (Fasse valve, etc.) switch --- why bother with the PB circuit at all?

I'm probably missing something in the equation --- so, maybe somebody like kennyd can pipe in here to make things easy to understand...

You might come across a used pair of rims to mount your new R3's on but I wouldn't hold my breath...

When I was shopping for tires/rims I found some at dealer's around the country here: Used Farm Equipment & Agricultural Equipment - John Deere MachineFinder.com

And eBay...

Best of luck.

Akfish, I was wondering about how to have the rear PB and the electric hydraulic valve both and you mentioned exactly what I was thinking. Maybe I could put quik couplers on the elec/hyd in/out ports and use those for the PB when using the woodsplitter etc. Was definitley wondering how to do all this. You bring up a great point. The rear SCV couplers seem straight forward and was just worried about mounting conflicts as the 990 does not have a lot of room on the back. Garry-let me know what you have size wise on those wheels and tires as turf size for the 990 is 27x12.5x15 fronts and 44x18x20 rears. I asked about Galaxy tires as they seem to be the only ones who make turfs the same size as my r-4's. Thanks
