A/C refrigerant oil question

Loadstar, Most refrigerants and systems other than cold storage carry the oil through the system with assistance with the piping design and it does not pocket. New ball game when dealing with Ammonia and/or cold storage; those systems have to have provisions for trapping and draining oil as it does not mix with Ammonia and gets like grease at freezing temps. 50% of my experience was with Ammonia systems.
