I've got an L2800 Xtra power with a standard transmission and a LA453 Loader (and a BH76 backhoe, but that's off right now). I've been having some odd problems. First, after working several hours, driving the tractor back to the house from my worksite in high range 4th gear, it started losing power. It would idle, but would stall if I tried to move the tractor. After a minute or two, it smoothed out and I drove it to the house, and checking the fuel filter, saw the bottom of the bowl had a lot of gunk in it, so I replaced the filter and cleaned the bowl. The problem didn't repeat after that for several months, but this time, there wasn't that much stuff (and no visible signs of water) in the bowl, but I cleaned the bowl and replaced the filter anyway. Yesterday, as I was building the driveway to my new house (I hope soon) construction site, it did the same thing at low speed while using the loader. It quit in the road, and wouldn't move. I had my son come over with another older tractor and try to tow it, but on the soft ground, he could barely move the tractor (seemed odd that it was so hard to drag in neutral, with bucket and landplane off the ground, but not that odd, the ground was pretty soft.) I checked the filter, which was replaced last week, and there was no sign at all of gunk in the bowl. Other than potentially bad fuel, any other suggestions? (I had been working for about 5 hours on the hour meter when it quit, and the outside temperature was 97+, but the temperature gage was well within "normal" operating range, in fact a little on the cool side for what I expected).
Secondary issue is hydraulics (OMG). I installed a third function kit on the loader a couple of years ago, and it usually works fine, and it has a set of rear remotes for the backhoe (which as I said, is off the tractor right now), and I have Skidsteer quick attach on the loader, and have a bucket on it, so nothing is attached to that remote. The rear remote is in a "loop" as the Kubota place told me to do. However recently, I had trouble moving the bucket, then noticed a whining noise and that the 3 put was in the full "up" position, but was making a noise as if it were still trying to lift something. I moved the 3 pt control down a little, the noise quit and the bucket control returned. I never had this problem before, could it be just a dirty filter, or perhaps does that sound more related to the plumbing for the 3rd function? (I bought the "Construction Attachments Kit" and installed that about two or three years ago.)
