A different cutting blade for garden tractors

I just ran across a different type of blade system for mowers, it is called Meg-MO. This seems to be a disk with 4 smaller blades attached that replaces the regular blades on your mower.
Has anyone had any experience with this system? If so what do you think?

I looked into them years ago but never bought them so I don't have any experience. I know their website hasn't been updated in years so I don't know if they are still in business or not. Here is their website with info and videos:

Basically they are similar to rough/bushhog type mowers but supposedly give a good finished cut.

Seems like an interesting concept, but as stated before they don't appear to be doing much business. I live about 20 minutes from there and have never heard of them.

Lots of small Australian lawn tractors like Greenfield, Rover and such use a similar set up, single disc decks though. The blades can be a lot thinner so it does give a fine cut. The blade carrier, the disc, provides momentum like a flywheel. And if you hit something there is less chance of doing damage to the drivetrain.

As expensive as they are, I hope they outlast regular blades by a factor of five-to-one. On the other hand, a swivel-style blade would have saved me just the other day when I hit a root and bent a blade.

Well I didn't get an email back, so I called the number. It now belongs to a restaurant, so I guess that is it for our different blades. It did look like a cool idea though.
