- Tractor
- a few green & yellow ones
I'd planned on waiting for another year or so before buying another tractor. As usual those plans got thrown out when Deere announced they were no longer making Tier 3 machines in the 83 to 101 horsepower range. We all know that Tier 4 machines already cost more to purchase but I also believe that a Tier 4 machine will cost much more to own and operate over it's life cycle. So I bought the last 5093E my dealer had.
Considering I don't plan on buying another one for a while I equipped this one fairly well.
5093E
H260 loader w/Global carrier
HD Bucket w/tabs and hooks
Air seat
Right hand door kit
Buddy seat
Side exhaust kit
Power modulator
Horn kit
Rear Fender Kit
Rear tires filled
Wheels moved out to #6
4 wheel weights for the rear tires
Armstrong BRG72-11 grapple
WR Long joystick/valve kit
Grapple hoses run inside the loader
Fit Rite Hydraulics toplink
Washburn global to 500 adaptor
Kenwood iPod compatible and internet music streaming stereo
CabCam system with 2 wireless cameras
Trimble EZ-Guide 250 GPS system with 6" pass antenna
Pat's EZ change system
2 extra LED 27w front spot lights
2 extra LED 27w rear flood lights
It is a beast when it comes to power. Nothing stops it.
The H260 loader doesn't even break a sweat if you try to pick something up that weighs close to 2 tons.
The Armstrong root grapple is a land clearing machine and built like a tank.
And I can't even begin to describe how nice it is to work in an air conditioned cab. I spent 4 or 5 hours working in 97 degree heat listening to great music while being cool and comfortable. The cab is nice, period.
I really like the picture of it sitting next to my 3032. The size difference is amazing!
