I was moving some dirt around with my new 20 hour CT225 and I forgot I had threw a can of blue spray paint behind the seat. I was using the paint to spray some steel plates out in my back field I use as a ding target sometime. Anyways, I hit a good bump and the seat rail punched a hole in the paint can, spraying blue paint all over the back of my left leg, the PTO lever, the range speed lever, the left side of the seat, all the way to the left loader arm and my left fender. I dashed back to the garage and spent the next hour with a roll of shop towels and a gallon of mineral spirits(in my underwear no less) getting this paint off my tractor. Got it done, though there is a little bit on the gray paint under the seat area that leaked down on the rear end(tractors, not mine)I didn't see that when I did the top side. that is no big deal, I will just paint over the gray areas with more gray....anybody know which gray matches. All I can say is if I wanted a blue tractor, I would have bought a blue tractor and I will not be carrying any more cans of spray paint behind the seat.

Funny story. Thanks for sharing. I've had similar things happen with bug spray, but so far, I've been lucky with spray paints.

Ask your dealer for a can of touch up paint. When my tractor was delivered I noticed some paint had chiped off the hitch mount. It was from the tie down chains when it was trailered. The dealer had a new can with him..he hit the bare spots and left me the nearly full can.

Sounds like something that would happen to me. Good thing you had your mineral spirits handy.
