They have a very big grader.... surprisingly the graders don't seem to push very well....Not when the banks are frozen solid.... Also they are too long to work in thight places...
They ran the grader out last year without chains.... I'm not sure if the tires are loaded or not... To cut back the banks they adjust the grader so it crabs ( front not in line with the rear) a bit down the road. This keeps the rears on the pavement but puts the nose into the snowbanks.... But it just pushes the nose back into the road....and does very little to move the bank back....
