A little spring is in the air

You are having a heat wave! -24F forecast for tonite with 25 mph north winds gusting to 35mph. There is going to be some drifting I will need to deal with in the morning.

Coobie, I was about to say the same thing. I was thinking about taking the kids skiing on Sunday until I saw the forecast. I think I'll clean some guns instead. Spring will get here in April if we are lucky. Last year Lake Superior still had ice on it in June.

Good choice to stay in and give the guns a good cleaning.Heading to gaylord area monday morning could be interesting weather wise.

Heck, we have tulips and daffodils coming up already in Kansas. Hope they don't get zapped in the guaranteed hard freeze we'll have before spring.

I'm still snowmobiling and they are calling for -12 F and snow this weekend

A little spring is in the air and around the corner!!

This morning at 7:00 they started fertilizing our farm. Then they rowed it up. When they finished the rowing they rolled the rows. It was 75 here today, but the low tonight low will be mid 30's then 50 tomorrow. There is still some winter left in the south.


For some reason at this time I can't upload pictures, but I will again later.

Wish people would stop talking like it's warming up outside. :laughing: Not negative here, but cold enough for me. Lets just say it will be a couple months before we start thinking about planting anything.

I have mowed the grass at the end of march before and as much as I now hate mowing grass would welcome the opportunity.

Nice pics. By now, we can't even remember what fresh dirt smells like. :laughing:

Come summer we won't recall what the cold of winter feels like. :laughing:
