A little welding humor

I don't post much, but I have learned a ton reading and rereading the welding forums.
I have no problem admitting that I have attempted and finished several projects with this forums help, and without this vast knowledge base, I most certainly would have made a mess of a lot of things.
So it is with this in mind, I thought I would share a little humor I came across with those that don't even know me, but have taught me so much.

Yeah, like I have told some prospective employers; "I don't walk out my front door for pocket change". Old retired UNION Pipefitter/Welder.

Scale for welders is way up now. There is a drastic shortage of pipe welders. UA unions will give you a Journeyman Card if you can certify on all their standard test protocols. My wife's son works pipeline in OK as a Coating Inspector on a non-union job and the pipeline builder is tearing his hair out because all his non-union welders are leaving for union jobs. He bid at the traditional lower scale and is now stuck losing money.

Been a pressure Welder/Fabricator for 35 yrs.I like to do good wor,k but I want to be paid for it.I make sure they get there value.I don't expect a free ride.I still wonder why some excellent tradesman work for low wages when they can go down the road and get paid well for their skills.I love the QC welding guide posted.
