great story! I had a Kuvasz which is similar to a Maremma and they are excellent protectors.......absolutely fearless........also had a Great Pyrenees....same thing but a bit dialed down in temperament and much easier to handle........but if you are looking for a livestock guardian these are the dogs to have......back in the late 80's carjacking was a big thing where we were so I use to bring the Kuvasz in the car with us when we went out......for some reason we never had a problem with strangers approaching the car.......lol....Jack
