I get cold & white with both. Hopefully not 2015 repeat - 18’ of snow with no thaws (Late Jan through end March).

How can you tell that Mate?

In the first example New Brunswick (indeed, all of Canada) is going to be a bland 'tan'. In the second example, you don't exist.

Both almanacs showing the same it's when does the snow start piling up.

I’m used to the world ending at the 49th parallel, or wherever someone draws the border. Canuckistanian versions of the almanac both predict cold with lots of snow. IOW, normal winter.

Everyone I know has had a great year in their garden. I myself have had a ton of tomatoes. I’ve always heard of you have a good year in your garden you will have a rough winter. Here in NC a rough winter might be 5-6 inches of snow haha

Makes no difference in my case. Another winter of - not much snow, it will be a wet snow - it's gonna melt before needing to be plowed.

As a golfer for 60? Years and an honest to goodness outdoor kind of person, I watch the weather like a hawk. I have lost all faith in weather forecasting. Never had much.

I could be wrong but, I think their forecasting is, in many cases, a ploy for ratings.

Around here it seems every day is like the end of the world. I believe they over forecast most everything, makes it much more exciting. Plus, bad weather gives people an excuse for staying home and hunkering down, don’t forget the toilet paper!

My worst summer in 40 years in the Tar Heel State. I kept track, Rains on average, every other day. Rained all nite. Raleigh got 6 inches of rain last nite and it’s like, no big deal.

The lousy weather here is the new normal, no spring, no autumn, mostly hot muggy rain in the summer or cold wet rain, Oregon rain, in the winter. Weather forecasts have gone Hollywood, imho.

Not sure about almanacs.
