We don't have any Northern stores here in MD. Just got back from taking my son to Va Tech for the school year, so, I stopped in Salem/Roanoke at the Northern store. They are a cut above HF, no doubt. But, of course, some of the prices reflect this.
I was disappointed to find that 3-point implements are not even carried on the showroom floor, they can order them (you pay sales tax but not shipping). I wanted to "kick the tires" on a few items I have seen in their catalog, but, no luck.
As far as HF and parts. If parts are listed with the owners manual, they can be gotten, but, as you have read in the prior post, it may take 6-12 weeks to get your parts.
I do think that tiller is way over-priced for Chinese-production. I started the thread to see what everyone's reaction was, and whether they thought we would see more 3-point items from HF, in the future??
