A very sad day

My condolences to you mpegg. Losing a dog is like losing a member of the family because they bring so much to our lives. You can never replace the dog he was but I would encourage you to get another because they give so much joy and love. As I write this, my three dogs are asleep on the floor under and around my desk. They are my constant companions but I know the day will come when I have to put them down and those will be a sad days for sure. We have horses and cats but nothing beats a dog when it comes to unconditional devotion. I can't remember where I saw this but dog lovers will relate: Always be the person your dog thinks you are!

My wife and I have really been missing our friend. She told me she wanted a new puppy in her life. I didn't hesitate to agree. She has been looking on the INTERNET to find that special one, but just didn't find the special one. There was a puppy sale going on in Youngstown, OH so we went. They were suppose to have a couple Boston Terriers. When we got there we didn't find any. The guy that was in charge said he had one in Cleveland OH. He also said she was very lovable and petite. The wife wanted to go. So to make a long story short Zoey has a new home.

Congratulations, mpegg-- those are great little dogs. We used to raise boxers when I was a kid, and I love them, too- jgrreed is right; they're great family members and similar in personality. (I always hated how the boxer got the bum rap in Disney's Lady & The Tramp movie!)

We're enjoying our new kittens, too, thopugh they're getting bigger fast and just love the christmas tree ornaments....

Now out to the tractor to clean up the latest foot+ of snow--
