Why does it seem like every discussion on this board eventually ends up a rant about guns and global warming?

Sometime it could be as simple as the pain meds has just worn off.

I'm not sure if I should apologize for starting this- or just set back and enjoy it! I was concerned about the politics of AARP, but thought maybe the perks would be worth it. I guess I will just set back and enjoy the show!

Even though I don't agree with the AARP politics, I had the wife join (I got a card too), just soe we could get the discounts. For the cost of membership, it more than pays for itself in one or two nights at the motel. Also, I write in to their mag and gripe alot too, makes me feel better.

As for global warming, just ask those folks in Maine today with over a foot of new snow about global warming. Whatever happened to acid rain? In the late 70's all the scientists were predicting another ice age was coming due to fossel fuel use. I'll worry about that tomorrow.
