ABI manure spreaders?

Hello,
Checking to see if anyone has had any experience with ABI manure spreaders? I had never heard of the company before, but came across them while doing internet searches for other brands. I have a brochure coming and have spoken with a sales rep, but wanted to see if anyone owned one and what their opinion was. The rep touts that this is a premium product and in turn comes with a premium price about $6500 for a 85 cubic foot model delivered. I usually like to touch and feel an piece of equipment prior to purchasing which makes a mail order purchase a little unnerving. Any feedback is appreciated.

Good product/company. Wife rusted out 2 off brands, got ABI good now for 6 years.
Appears good people, like that USA made contract small companies. Two large barns near
Atlanta ordered from ABI after our experience. Own two their products, please with both.

I used to work for a manure spreader company that built hydraulic push off, PTO driven spreaders. I have a few thoughts.... are the paddles replaceable? how thick are the paddles? also look into the gears and chain assembly... are the part special or common?

I'm not a fan of a single axle, but I also have no experience with ground drive units. single axle with narrow tires equals deeper ruts.

a "Box" frame on a spreader will rust out.... just a mater of time.

whats the inside of the spreader made from, my old company used Plastic deck boards that where very slippery and didnt rot, or break.

Dr Parmer, thanks for the real world feedback. Nice to see they make a quality product and that you are happy with it.

BLSXJ, thanks for the advice. I will have to research the beaters further. As far as the box, they claim they use a "core 10 treated steel" that is very rust resistant and the chain uses a "t" link that look more robust than others I have seen.

Like the joke. Going to file that one away for future use.
