$5,000 new, plus shipping, from factory in Texas.
If TR3 can successfully replace Box Blade, Landscape Rake, LPGS and Chain Harrow, not so bad.
Think of time saved in eliminating several implement changes on the job. And compactness of trailer transport.
I purchased subject TR3 Rake, lightly used, from seller in Clinton, N.Y., via eBay.
It is a TR3
Command Series, which is TR3 commercial model with hydraulically operated scarifiers.
Original buyer paid $5,790 plus shipping in April 2015. I purchased for $3,000 plus shipping.
I used U-ship, the web freight broker, with satisfaction. The telephone quote I received from FedEx ground was $1,100. I shipped with Roadrunner Transportation for $260.53, including U-ship's commission. TR3 took eight days to arrive in undamaged condition. I will use U-ship again.
I fooled with the TR3 today. TR3 has multiple adjustment points. By the end of the day I had the TR3 beautifully grading lime-rock farm tracks and smoothing the one acre bare earth area surrounding the community burn pit. This evening discovered ABI's PDF adjustment manual for the Command Rake on ABI's web site and developed new ideas for fine tuning TR3 adjustment.
I have a
HydrauLink Top Link, which is very helpful when operating my Rollover Box Blade and helpful when operating my ETA Landscape Rake with gauge wheels. Sooner or later I will pin the
HydrauLinkTop Link to my tractor and pin to the TR3 rake to see if it is useful in TR3 application. See Photo.
My 37-horsepower, heavy chassis, Kubota
L3560, 4-WD, with HST/PLUS pulls the TR3 in HST High/low or HST Medium/high easily. Tire spread is 60"; TR3 width is 78".
Rake weight is about 800 pounds, supported by foam filled gauge tires, with four closely spaced wheel height options.
My soil is Florida sandy-loam.
