About Clutch and PTO - CK20 HST

I am using my new CK20-HST with a rear mower. My question is: is there a way to shift from Low to High without using the clutch because if I use it, the PTO Stop and so I have to reduce speed in a way to have the PTO running again (because I don't want it to have the PTO back at full speed).

Need your advice.

When my dealer delivered the tractor, he just pushed the brake and shifted from low to high and pulled it off the trailer. I use the clutch just because but it will not harm it by not using the clutch. I have done it a couple of times without thinking.

Just make sure you use the brake because any slight movement will make it very hard to shift.

there are only 2 times to mash the clutch on a Kioti CK HST tractor...
one time is when you start the engine.
the only other time use the clutch on a Kioti CK HST tractor is when you engage the pto...

other than that, please keep your foot off the pedal.

I clutch when shifting ranges. Thought I was supposed to.

the manual says to use the clutch. I beleive this to be a safty precaution. As long as the machin is not moving and the HST motor is not turning there shouldnt be an issue. I think it is mearly a final drive selection and not in the hst motor itslef. The only reason i can think of that they tell you to do this is because it does stop the pump that drives the HST so that you are sure it isnt turning. I have done it before with a rotory cutter running with no issues. if the machine is moving slightly you will get a slight grinding of gears. That is why i fell like it is in the final drive and not the HST.
