Be careful!

I had wasps build a nest in the lock hole of a greenlee jobbox! I make a point of knocking the area around any hidden locks before sticking my hand in after that lol.

I have a 20 foot ocean shipping container on my property. The door lock is very well shrouded and protected. You must reach up through a small hole into an enclosed metal area, where you cannot see. locate the padlock, figure out how to insert the key, unlock it, remove the padlock, and pull down the lever to open the door. All difficult and with absolutely no visibility. The hard part is figuring out how to get the key inserted into the lock.

Last summer, I went to unlock the door. After a minute or two of fumbling, I could not get the key into the lock. Perhaps I had the key oriented 180 degrees off-- I wasn't sure. I pulled my hand out to look at the key, and observed a brown recluse spider sitting on my thumb. If you don't know, those are far more venomous and dangerous than a black widow.

From then on, I spray bug killer up toward the lock, then wait an hour or more before putting a glove covered hand in to try to open the lock. I did not get bitten, only by luck.
