I have an old AC Snap coupler plow similar to the attached. I would like to convert it to a three point to work with my JD 4320 compact with an Imatch quick hitch.
Has anyone seen this done successfully?
Any ideas on whether a 4320 compact can pull a 3-14 plow successfully?
I would imagine you could pull a 3 X 14 plow, but I don't know about this one. Might be cheaper in the long run just to check Craigslist and get a Ford or Massey 3-bottom.

Those moldboards look rough. Earth contact parts need to be bright and smooth otherwise friction through the soil increases by multiples.
Personally, I doubt the conversion to todays standardized three point hitch is a reasonable proposition. Moldboard plows have to be adjusted exactly right to move through the dirt and turn the soil. It is not simply a matter of attaching a plow to the 3-pt and then pulling.
