I think we should give a prize to post # 3000

To all Power Trac members and valued guest to our slice of the pie within TBN:

I am sorry for acting so hastily (me the resident hothead) and delete my original post.
As most of you know we have been in a fairy tale sleep for the last few weeks.
- we are a small group and growing
- we are an enthusiastic group
- we are possibly a little more frugal tractor buyers
- we expect allot of our little beasties
- we put our thinking caps on and love to communicate our ideas
- we love to share our experiences, inventions, screw-ups
- AND unless the pt membership and valued guest to our small portion of the forum totally rejects my proposal ... the reward or as mr. m.r. said door price, is back on.

lets not forget the days when we were attempting to get our own page within TBN.

as many times before, thanks for all your impute, suggestions, help and praises ( i hope i spelled this right ....hahahaha, it means when you laudare [latin]) someone

I say go for it. Even though I don't have a PT, it is one of the most fun forums for me to read. Probably because I am an engineer & enjoy seeing how you guys solve problems & improve your machines.

PS If I somehow manage to be 3,000 you'd have to come up with some way to raffle off the filter to someone who has use for it.

i have already some ideas for that and depending on how many sponsors i can enlist. i am thinking anywhere from a quick attach plate to a 10 cubic feet bucket.

but i don't want to be the sole decision maker here

For the record -- I know that mine was post #3000, I saw it displayed on the Main Index. Also, looking at the most recent posts also shows my post after Charlie's.

thank you guys ... as usual, in the true spirit of TBN and especially our small group of pters and our distinguished guests ... job well done.

but now comes the real challenge ... i will contact Muhammed and inquire about the possible tie ... i will stand good for two hydraulic filter if that is the case.

the real challenge as already indicated is the 5000 level of quality posts. i am the first offender of thanking for the thanking.

we should use the private msg avenue if we really want to be polite to someone unless we can kind'a combine tractor info with courtesy. there are enough native speakers with with well rounded english language knowledge that can help us establish some ground rules for the 5000 post award.

let's hear from everyone ...establish the guidelines, recruit more pters, post good modifications, engineering changes and continue to share our great (what a mouth full) ideas.

wasabi, sorry for not getting back to you sooner but i thought not to post or as little as possible during the mini contest. everybody, or almost everybody was really watching the contents of their posts. what a group we are. just like a race horse late out of the gate and still wins the race. i am very proud to be here and have the opportunity to have a pt with which i am almost daily making a living.
