I have an L3700SU with category 1 3pt hitch. I would like to use a category 2 drawbar but the 1.125 pin size won't fit the 1.00 inch swivels in the lift arms. Is there a way to convert things to allow for the category 2 drawbar?

Not really an adapter, but most quick hitches go up a hitch size on the implement side, but the spacing may not be wide enough.

Turn down the (integral) pins on a lathe to 1.00"? May be easier to buy a new one for $40-$50. With other attachments, you can swap out the removable pins.

Your cat 1 swivels have a 7/8 inch hole.

Will this style drawbar work?

It could be fitted with cat 1 pins if your lift arms will go wide enough.

I had the balls drilled out for cat 2. Shop that did it wanted 20 dollars. When I picked it up he said they were harder then he thought, and that would be the last time.

Pat's makes a cat 2 quick hitch that will fit on cat 1 3 pt arms. I used them on my old L3010 to convert my cat 1 hitch to cat 2. They add 4" to the effective length of the 3 pt arms though. This may cause problems with the top link length on some implements.

Not surprised there....

Good picture. I agree. Get some cat 1 pins, about 6 big washers, and a top link pin that will span the upper connection. You might also get lucky and find some bushings that go around the cat 1 pin threads and slip through the cat 2 holes in the drawbar. Twenty-five bucks for everything at the farm store.....and then see if the arms will spread wide enough. And if so, then if the top link will rotate up enough to fit the upper connection. It will be close and some implements will fit where others do not. But if your drawbar does allow the fit, the rest is easy. If not, then I'd get a different draw bar.
good luck,
