For those of you who aren't familar with this setup, it allows the height of the trailer coupler to be adjusted using two bolts. In the picture a 2 5/16 ball coupler is shown attached. Also shown is a lunette and a clevis that can be used for coupling. The setup provides the capability of several options to match a tow vehicle. Northern Power carries everything but the clevis.

If you're working on a project, removing the coupler makes the trailer difficult to "borrow."
