ADAPTING PT ATTACHMENTS TO SKID STEERS

If your universal hitch is male on the tractor, you need a female part to be welded to the implement that you want to use with it. Reverse sexes if applicable.

Strawlawn: Your inquiry is the first I recall asking about an adapter to go in that direction. There are some threads and posts about adapters to put skid-steer attachments on Power-tracs, but I don't remember the other way.
I would think that if you're only looking at one implement, such as the grapple bucket, I would consider asking Power Trac to sell it to you without the PT mounting plate, and get a welding shop to weld the attachment side of the skid-steer system to the bucket. If you consider a number of attachments, then a Power-trac male mounting plate with locking tabs would have to be welded to a skid-steer implement-side frame.
I hate to steer anyone away from PT, but I think I've seen similar grapple buckets on the web already set up for skid steers.
I have a W.R. Long 4 n 1 bucket. They also make grapple buckets, and will do any width.

Thank You. I have been working with them recently to have their 60" Grapple bucket cut down to 54". The lowest they can go is 56". Cost is about 2K. The 54" Power Trac grapple bucket attachment is ideal for the RC-30 which is 48" wide. I just need something to go on the PT grapple Bucket that will mate up with the universal quick attach(Bobcat standard) my machine has. 10 GPM/3000PSI Hyd System. Operating weight of the machine is 3,000 Lbs
