Hey I replaced the lift arms on my LS XG3032 with the standard ones they sell at Tractor Supply because I needed a longer arm
The new arms have been a big improvement although I just noticed one of the arms has a slight bend in it.
I want to weld some 1/4" plate to the lift arms. I can fit a 1/4" between the vertical lift arm mount. There is 24" between the cast ends so I was thinking of cutting the pieces around 23 1/2" and laying the bead right next to and on the factory one. I was told they are made from spring steel, not sure how that would make any difference? Would you weld all the way around or just stitch weld?
Maybe I am over thinking this but wanted to see if anyone had any useful info to offer, thanks.
