I installed a Piranha tooth bar from Bxpanded today. I can稚 wait to try it out on the small stumps and brushy areas around the hacienda?:)

Nice! They work great. Best add on that I put on my tractor. How's your weather down there? We have been windy as all get out!

You will love it! Mine is going on six years with lots of digging into rocky soil, brushing, etc and still looks great. I know my bucket edge would be trash now if I didn't install a PTB!

Now you just have to get used to those pesky teeth sticking out further than the corners of your bucket. Until then, careful around your house corners, posts, fences, etc.

I tried it out a little today and took out a few small stumps and a couple of bushes. It worked great!

As for the weather, it has been windy here too. Our winter has actually been pretty light this year as far as snow goes (Again………).

Wow! That's a great looking addition, and sure to be useful. Sure does make the loader more aggressive for clearing and light digging. I've got a tooth bar on my wish list.

Looks real nice and I too have a tooth bar on my wish list. I have some dirt work/grading to do this summer so it's high on my wish list.

Very nice bar. I bought one for my tractor and it showed up and shocked me on the size of the thing. Pretty sure it weighs 75# and way larger than I was thinking. This one you have looks like what I want. Very nice.

I installed a 72" Piranha TB on the loader bucket of the Case Farmall 55C CVT a couple of weeks ago. It works really well for dirt work. I tried clearing some saplings and small trees with mixed results. Some were uprooted as desired, but most were sheared off a few inches above ground level leaving the roots and short stump. I need to learn the techniques for brush clearing with the TB. I tried running the loader bucket on float with the TB tilted slightly up with so-so results. Do I need to take a bit of topsoil with the TB to uproot brush? Vic

My experience with the traditional style of tooth bar and the Piranha tooth bar is similar to vicakc.

On my BX25 I had a W.R.Long tooth bar. It was pretty good at uprooting brush without shearing individual trees above ground. It was also pretty good at raking backwards with the bucket tilted down.

When I sold my BX and moved up to a B2650 I bought the Piranha bar. I find it more difficult to uproot small trees and it's a bit less effective at raking. But I still really like it. It's excellent at digging and if I am trying to make space at the sides of my road I can just tilt it down a bit and push a bit of dirt with it.

If I need to clear a lot of saplings from the sides of my road I have a J.Dunn grapple. It's incredibly effective at pulling groups of saplings out of the ground.
