The tractor is a JD 5055E which the dealer has put the subframe and hoses in for a backhoe. So, since the backhoe valves are open center, return to tank, it was an easy task to swap out the backhoe valve bank for another valve bank of a set of 4 stack valves to run additional equipment. Here's the process:

First, the tractor before the modification:

I 'm putting the valves on the fender and the QDs will go there as well. The hoses will fall off to the inside to connect into the existing power beyond hoses.

I used a piece of left over purlin from building my barn for the bracket.

Then remove the excess metal and paint it green.

Then make a template for the valve block and test it on scrap before drilling the fender.

Install the pressure in/ power beyond/ and tank hoses and attach valve block to fender.

Mount the bulkhead bracket, and run the individual hoses.

Hook up the implement

Attach the hoses and we're ready to go.

All the hydraulic parts came from either Surplus Center or Discount hydraulic hoses. Both companies were easy to order from and delivered quickly.

Edit: This wasn't meant as an advertisement for either company and I have no affiliation with either one other than being a customer. I was very pleased with their parts and service, both in quality and timeliness of delivery.

It looks great, the only thing I might want to look into is this, on my 2016 Massey 1742 they told me and it is in the manual that you cannot run your power beyond and use the tractor hydraulics at the same time that it has to be looped from your pressure back to your tank, or it could cause catastrophic failure, might be worth looking into

Yep. Only one valve anywhere in the chain active at anyone time.

Although I don't know about the catastrophic failure. I don't think that would happen, just dump excess fluid to tank.
