I have a very small lot and my tractor is mainly used for working my 6000 sq' of garden. Naturally I have lots of backing up to do. I almost go in reverse as much as forward. I wanted to add side mirrors so this is what I came up with. 1987-95 jeep mirrors from eBay, $15. I then fabricated brackets out of 1/4 x 2" flat bar and mounted them to the loader cross beam support using factory bolts. (The bolts were 3/4" longer than they needed to be from the factory).
No my only issue is that the 2 mirrors have different focal lengths. The right one is your typical "objects in mirror are closer than they appear". I may have new glass cut for them if its a problem.
